Chincoteague’s October 10 oyster festival offers a seafood-centered fall day
The 53rd annual gathering is scheduled for Tom’s Cove Park, with music and $65 admission.
Chincoteague's oyster season has a date for the calendar: the island's 53rd annual Oyster Festival is scheduled October 10 at Tom's Cove Park.
The Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce lists the event from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. at 8128 Beebe Road. Admission is $65 per person, and children under five enter free. Online booking fees apply.
The festival celebrates Chincoteague oysters and the island's seafood industry. Organizers advertise all-you-can-eat seafood and live music by Island Boy, giving visitors a reason to build an Eastern Shore weekend around a shared meal.

The Town of Accomac's calendar also confirms the date, location and standard admission. Optional early-access and reserved-space packages are separate from ordinary tickets.
