Loudoun health clinics’ service pause runs through Friday

Immunizations and several other services remain unavailable through November 6 during an electronic-records transition.

By The Virginian News · Published November 5, 2026

Loudoun County residents seeking an immunization, school physical or several other health-department services face a temporary interruption through Friday, November 6. The county says those services are unavailable while it prepares to launch a new electronic medical record system on Monday, November 9.

The pause, which began October 26, also covers family planning, refugee screening, tuberculosis screenings and car-seat classes. The county’s notice says all other services continue on their regular schedules, so the interruption should not be read as a closure of every clinic function.

Appointments are required for health-department clinic services. The main clinic number is 703-777-0236, which residents can use to confirm the appropriate service and appointment arrangements during the transition.

The Leesburg medical clinic is at 102 Heritage Way NE, Suite 100. Its listed weekday hours are 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m., with hours varying by service. The Ashburn clinic is at 45201 Research Place, Suite 120.

The county’s notice establishes the transition dates; it does not promise that a particular appointment will be available immediately when the new system launches.
