Dr. Christopher Allaman arrived in Martinsville in 2012 to work with his mentor, Dr. George Stermer. Allaman earned his dental degree from Ohio State University in 2008 and completed a residency at St. Elizabeth in Youngstown, Ohio. His background also includes public-health and private-practice dentistry in Ohio and North Carolina.
The laboratory side has its own long history of experience. Technician Rob Stevens joined the practice in 2022 after a career that began with training at Durham Technical Community College in 1977. He also spent 23 years owning a dental laboratory. That background gives the Martinsville team a connection to the detailed, hands-on work involved in making dentures.
The practice offers same-day dentures and partials in most cases, alongside preventive and restorative dental services. Timing and the appropriate treatment depend on the patient’s needs, but the combination makes denture care a central part of the office’s identity.
