Craig's Lawn Care has grown with Northern Virginia's home landscapes since 1985
Craig's Lawn Care began as a one-person lawn service in 1985. More than four decades later, the family-owned business remains focused on residential properties, with work that follows a yard through the seasons and through larger changes in how a family uses it.
Craig's Lawn Care began as a one-person lawn service in 1985. More than four decades later, the family-owned business remains focused on residential properties, with work that follows a yard through the seasons and through larger changes in how a family uses it.
Based in Fairfax, the company serves homeowners across Northern Virginia. Its regular maintenance includes mowing, trimming, pruning, mulching, leaf removal and seasonal cleanups. Those recurring visits form the foundation of a business whose relationship with a property can continue well beyond a single project.
The service range has grown around that foundation. Landscape improvements include planting, sod and seasonal flowers, while drainage work and bamboo removal address specific property needs. Patios, walkways and retaining walls add another side of the operation, changing the structure and use of an outdoor area.
Keeping the focus on homes is a deliberate part of the company's identity. A residential yard may need to accommodate everyday use as well as appearance, and the balance can change over time. Maintenance keeps existing spaces in order; a new path, planted area or patio can respond to a different need.
Craig's describes clear communication and dependable scheduling as central to its service. Uniformed crews carry out the recurring work, while a customer portal provides a way to manage the account side of the relationship. The company's public materials emphasize long-term customers and referrals as part of its growth, without making the work solely about the number of properties served.
The geographic reach includes Fairfax, Falls Church, Arlington, Annandale and nearby communities. Across that area, the business combines the regular rhythm of lawn care with projects that can give an established landscape a new purpose.
Its history provides the continuity: a company that started with one person's lawn service and expanded into a broader residential landscaping operation. Homeowners can contact Craig's to discuss routine care, a specific problem or a larger improvement, with the work shaped around the property and how they want to use it.
