A return to the Valley shaped Del Curry’s Winchester practice

Del Curry studied close to home before his professional education took him to Texas. He attended Shenandoah University and Laurel Ridge Community College, then earned his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees at Texas Chiropractic College. After graduating, he returned to the Shenandoah Valley to open his practice.

Curry Chiropractic & Holistic Wellness Center is based in Winchester. Its appointment structure gives the practice a particular rhythm: the office describes visits lasting one to two hours, with physical rehabilitation and stretching included alongside chiropractic work.

The practice combines several approaches within those visits. Its published description includes myofascial release, active and passive stretching, therapeutic ultrasound and spinal manipulation. Curry presents that combination as central to the way he organizes appointments, rather than making manipulation the sole focus.

Outside his professional work, Curry enjoys restoring cars and taking on home-improvement projects. Those interests add a hands-on chapter to a biography that connects local study, training in Texas and a return to the Valley.
