Brothers bring a construction background to Highest Roofing & Exteriors

Before starting Highest Roofing & Exteriors, Carlos Sagastume spent a decade working in construction. He and his brother Max then brought that experience into a business of their own, building a Harrisonburg company focused on the outside of a home.

The brothers remain central to the operation. Carlos is a co-owner, while Max combines ownership with project management. Fernando Sagastume handles business management, and the wider team includes office and project staff who support the work from the first inquiry through the job itself.

Roofing is the core of the company’s service. Its offerings include shingle and metal roofs, along with EPDM and TPO systems. Repairs and maintenance sit alongside replacement work, giving homeowners and property owners more than one reason to call.

The company also handles siding and gutters. Those services place several connected parts of a building’s exterior within the same business. A roof, its drainage and the surfaces below it each have their own job; Highest’s range allows those needs to be considered together when a project calls for it.

Carlos brought ten years of construction experience to the venture. Working alongside Max and Fernando, he is part of a family team that divides its attention between the job site and the day-to-day demands of running the business.

For a homeowner, the people managing a project matter alongside the materials being installed. At Highest, the division of responsibilities is clear: the brothers lead the business, project managers oversee the work and office staff provide the administrative support. That structure gives the company a human identity beyond the finished roof.
