HoneyWay brings a broker's local perspective to the Northern Shenandoah Valley
A historic house in Winchester and a small farm beyond town can require very different conversations with a real estate broker. HoneyWay's Nate Crandell works across both, bringing a long connection to the Shenandoah Valley to a practice based on West Boscawen Street.
A historic house in Winchester and a small farm beyond town can require very different conversations with a real estate broker. HoneyWay's Nate Crandell works across both, bringing a long connection to the Shenandoah Valley to a practice based on West Boscawen Street.
The business began in 2019. In 2025, Crandell developed it into a full-service brokerage, where he serves as principal broker. That distinction marks an important step in HoneyWay's story: an established local business taking on a broader role while keeping its focus on individual buyers and sellers.
Crandell has lived in and around the Valley for most of his life. His work includes historic homes around Winchester, single-family houses in newer neighborhoods, small farms and rural land. Frederick and Clarke counties are among the communities he serves, alongside other parts of the Northern Shenandoah Valley.
For people moving into the region, that range is useful. Choosing between an in-town home and a rural property involves more than comparing bedroom counts. Crandell describes helping relocating clients understand the communities they are considering before they make a move, including those coming from Northern Virginia and Washington.
First-time buyers and homeowners preparing to sell are also central to his practice. HoneyWay emphasizes explaining the buying process and giving each seller's property individual attention. Crandell's stated approach is to work with fewer clients at a time so that questions and decisions receive sustained attention throughout a transaction.
That is a practical foundation for a brokerage in a region with so many different kinds of homes. HoneyWay combines a Winchester office with work extending beyond the city, connecting its residential practice to the surrounding towns and countryside.
