Mills Heating and Air carries a family legacy into its fifth decade
Founded at home in 1984, the Spout Spring business continues under Laura and Josh Mills.
Garnett A. Mills started Mills Heating and Air Conditioning from his home in July 1984. Ten years of work later, the company moved into the offices it still uses in Spout Spring.
The business has outlived its founder, who died in 2005, while retaining the family name and leadership. Laura Mills serves as president and CEO, and Josh Mills is vice president. Their team includes service, installation, sales, dispatch and administrative staff.
Mills serves homes and businesses in Appomattox, Lynchburg and surrounding communities. Its work includes heating and cooling repairs, maintenance and replacement systems, as well as electrical and generator services.
