At South River Dental, a patient’s perspective helped shape the practice

Dr. William Potter’s path into dentistry began, in part, with his own experience as a patient. That perspective remains part of how South River Dental describes its approach to care in Waynesboro.

A 2011 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry, Potter leads a practice on 13th Street with a team that includes longtime office staff, hygienists and dental assistants. Office manager Brenda began her career as a dental assistant before moving into the coordination work that keeps appointments and patient needs connected.

The practice has also invested in its physical setting. Its newer clinic space includes a larger lobby and examination rooms, changes intended to make visits more comfortable for patients and staff.
