Virginia’s route to bowl eligibility has narrowed to two wins from its final three regular-season games after a 51–7 loss at No. 14 Wake Forest on October 31.

The Cavaliers have an open weekend before hosting Cal at Scott Stadium on November 14. North Carolina visits November 21, followed by the season-ending trip to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg on November 28, according to the university’s postgame report.

Saturday’s separation showed up most clearly in sustained drives. Wake Forest converted nine of 14 third downs; Virginia converted one of 12. The Demon Deacons scored on their first nine possessions and finished with 538 total yards against Virginia’s 330.

Virginia receiver Da’Shawn Martin supplied one positive individual result, recording career highs of nine receptions and 119 yards. His 47-yard touchdown reception came late in the third quarter. It was the Cavaliers’ only touchdown.

The open week provides time to address the offense before a pair of home games, but the remaining schedule leaves little margin. UVA’s official game report supplies the statistics and remaining dates; kickoff details should be checked against the team’s current schedule.
