Aaron Williams helps Williamsburg homeowners see the garden before it is built
Before a patio is laid or a planting bed takes shape, a homeowner working with Williams Landscape & Design can examine a three-dimensional plan. The Williamsburg company uses digital design to bring decisions about an outdoor space into view before construction begins.

Founder and owner Aaron Williams established the business in 2001. Its work now spans landscape design, installation and maintenance, along with hardscape features such as patios, retaining walls, walkways, pergolas and outdoor kitchens.
Williams describes the first step as listening to how a family wants to use its property. That conversation can lead toward a place to gather, a more manageable landscape or a larger outdoor-living project. The design process gives those priorities a shape that both the customer and installation team can work from.
Horticulture and construction meet in that work. Plant selection is one part of a landscape; drainage, soil conditions and the structure of a patio or retaining wall are others. The company's services bring those considerations together, with irrigation installation and maintenance available alongside planting and hardscape construction.
Its Williamsburg showroom gives prospective customers another way to explore the possibilities. Visitors can speak with representatives and see displays, connecting a digital plan to the materials and features that may become part of their own property.
The relationship can continue after installation. Williams Landscape & Design maintains residential and commercial properties, with services that include mowing, pruning, seasonal flowers, leaf removal and lawn care. For customers who want continuing help, that creates a connection between the team that builds an outdoor space and the work of keeping it cared for.
More than two decades after its founding, the business offers a complete progression from a first conversation through design, construction and ongoing maintenance. Homeowners can contact the Penniman Road office to discuss the scale and priorities of a project.
