Winding Creek Farm gives an old bank barn a new chapter
The stone foundation beneath Winding Creek Farm's barn is now part of a cocktail lounge. Above it, exposed beams frame a reception space; nearby, a former corn crib contains two private getting-ready suites. The Lovettsville venue has turned the different parts of a farm into distinct stages of a celebration.

Andy and Alexa took over the 20-acre property in 2025. Their earlier work involved restoring and reimagining homes and rental properties, and they brought that interest in useful, welcoming spaces to the farm. The historic bank barn and the creeks running through the grounds became the center of the next chapter.
The barn accommodates gatherings of up to 150 guests. Its upper level can also provide a rain contingency, while outdoor ceremony options offer different views: one by the creek and willow trees, another with the barn as a backdrop. The patio provides a further setting for drinks, conversation and lawn games.
The corn crib suites address a quieter part of the wedding day. Separate spaces let both sides of a wedding party prepare on the property before joining the larger gathering. Downstairs in the barn, the stone-walled lounge gives guests another place to settle in.
Winding Creek also welcomes smaller events, including micro-weddings with fewer than 50 guests, family gatherings and corporate occasions. Wedding arrangements require a full-service caterer and a day-of coordinator, with the venue supplying a recommended-vendor list for couples exploring other services.
The result is a property that can support movement through several spaces without losing its rural character. A tour is the most direct way to see the relationship between the barn, suites, patio and ceremony sites—and to discuss how a particular event would use them.
