More than two decades later, the business connects three Southwest Virginia offices with the same central task: helping families and businesses choose coverage and keep it current.
Lorie works from the Wytheville office. A Radford University graduate with a business administration degree, she has earned the CISR insurance designation. Her community involvement includes school volunteering and service on the Wythe County Public Schools Foundation for Excellence board.
Jamie, also a principal agent and owner, holds the CIC and LUTCF designations. His professional involvement has included advisory councils and a board role with the Professional Insurance Agents of Virginia and Washington, D.C. Outside the agency, farming is among his interests—an apt connection for a business whose offerings include farm coverage as well as home, auto and commercial insurance.
The agency operates independently, representing multiple insurance companies rather than a single carrier. That structure gives its agents different policy options to discuss with a client. It does not make every policy interchangeable: the work is in comparing the coverage, price and service that fit a particular situation.
The Wytheville team includes insurance advisor Kelly Taylor and customer service representative April Dunn. Scott Fenton serves as an insurance specialist in Christiansburg, and Greg Waller fills that role in Marion. Together, the three locations extend the agency's reach without losing a local point of contact.
Service continues after a policy is purchased. Wyatt's online client center provides a way to request policy changes, certificates, auto ID cards and reviews, as well as help with claims and payments. For clients who prefer a conversation, the North Fourth Street office remains the Wytheville starting point.
