Two Up Wine Down returns to Charlottesville November 7
The fifth festival pairs Virginia wine tastings with music and food at Jefferson School City Center.
The fifth Two Up Wine Down festival is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, from 2 to 5 p.m. on the lawn at Charlottesville’s Jefferson School City Center.
The Veraison Project and Oenoverse are organizing the afternoon around Virginia wine tastings, a group of wine curators and music from DJ Nobé. The event’s website lists food for purchase from Chimm, Vegan Comforts Soul Food and Pearl Island, while noting that vendors may change.
The outdoor festival is planned for rain or shine. Parts of the lawn will be tented, and organizers say visitors may bring blankets or chairs. Non-tasting and designated-driver tickets are available; alcohol consumption is restricted to people 21 and older.
A separate VIP courtyard experience is planned around Monticello AVA wines, curated by Brion Cephus and Kathline Chery. Organizers describe that capacity as limited.
The festival website links to ticket options and related weekend events. Check the selected ticket’s current price and availability before making plans; a listing does not guarantee admission remains available.
